Left-Hand Nuts
Left-hand nuts, also known as reverse thread nuts, have the same build and function as general hex screws. However, their internal threading is reversed. While standard hex nuts screw clockwise, left-hand nuts tighten counterclockwise. This is beneficial for applications where standard nuts may become loosened from vibrations or stress. The reverse thread offers extra resistance to vibration and counteracting torque. Left-hand nuts also provide extra safety and protection, as the reverse fastening may be more difficult to remove. Priority Products offers left-hand nuts in eight different diameters with various threading sizes.
